Upcoming Cricket matches : Chawla in ODI squad, India Team Squad for ODi Series against South Africa

Piyush Chawla has been given a surprising call-up to the Indian limited overs side on Tuesday that will take on South Africa in one T20 and the ODI series in January.
With just five ODIs against the Proteas before India go into the World Cup in February, the team was expected to be similar to what the selectors have in mind for the mega event.
Ravindra Jadeja and Rohit Sharma have been left out of the 16-man squad while Yusuf Pathan has been retained after his match-winning century in the fourth ODI against New Zealand earlier this month.

Parthiv Patel, the diminutive wicketkeeper, who scored two half-centuries in as many games against New Zealand, has also been left out with the selectors opting for just one wicketkeeper.
Sachin Tendulkar returns to the side for the first time after he scored one-day cricket's first ODI century against South Africa in February this year.
With this being the last opportunity to fine-tune India's preparations for the World Cup, India is likely to field its strongest XI in all the games.
