October 05, 2011 : The Somerset Sabres will take on the Chevrolet Warriors this Wednesday at Bangalore in the penultimate match of the Group Stages of this season’sChampions League T20. The Sabres, who recently went down to a good Bangalore side, will look to put that match behind them and return to the match winning form they were previously in. The Warriors on the other hand went down to Kolkata, losing by the Duckworth Lewis method, although they are still topping Group B with 4 points and have the best net run rate. The Sabres on the other hand are currently in 4th position with 3 points and will have to beat the group toppers by a huge margin in order to obtain the required net run rate which will take them to the semis. Both teams are coming off losses and therefore will be raring to go. The Sabres lost their previous encounter by a large margin of 51 runs, while the Warriors gave away a lot of runs in their initial overs. The bowling department of both these teams was the reason each of them lost their previous match and they will be hoping to rectify that this time around.
