Tendulkar returns to ODI squad | watch live cricket match |

Uttar Pradesh leg-spinner Piyush Chawla, who picked up 14 wickets at 44.07 in six Ranji Trophy matches this season, has been named in the Indian squad for the five-match ODI series and one Twenty20 match in South Africa.

Chawla, who turns 22 on December 24, last played for the country in the ODI against Pakistan at Karachi in 2008.

Sachin Tendulkar, too, figures in the 16-member squad. He has not played in a One-Day International after the World record 200 not out against South Africa at Gwalior in February this year.

Mumbai batsman Rohit Sharma has been dropped. The five-match series will be the last set of ODIs for India before the 2011 World Cup.
